VITA: Hotels & More

Bryan/College Station offers a wide range of affordable accommodations. The Office of Veterinary Continuing Education has worked with hotels in the area to offer a discounted rate for attendees of the VITA Annual Conference and associated social events. Space is limited at each hotel and reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please click on the links below to book your room directly with the hotel. Conference Location

The VITA Annual Conference will be held at the Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC), which is located on Raymond Stotzer Parkway (FM 60) at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA.

Conference Parking

  • You are encouraged to stay at the hotels listed above, with whom we have negotiated block rates.
  • Special needs parking is available and can be reserved during the registration process.
    A
    state permit will be needed for use of this parking opportunity.

Saturday & Sunday, May 18–19:

  • Parking is open, except where labeled RESERVED. 
  • We recommend Lot 24.
  • Accommodation requests will be contacted with instructions for event parking.

Directions

If you’re arriving via Highway 6:

    • Take the University Drive exit and proceed west on University Drive (which becomes Raymond Stotzer Parkway).
    • In about three miles, you’ll drive under an overpass.
    • Make a right at the second traffic light to enter the Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex (VBEC).

If you’re arriving via Highway 21:

    • Exit Highway 47 at the Texas A&M RELLIS campus.
    • Continue on Highway 47 until it intersects with Raymond Stotzer Parkway (FM 60), and head east toward the main Texas A&M campus.
    • The VBEC is on the left at the second traffic light past the overpass, approximately one mile east of Easterwood Airport.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

    • Contact us directly by phone at 979.845.9102 or email at ceinfo@cvm.tamu.edu.
    • If cancellation is made prior to 14 days before the conference start date, a refund of 80 percent of the registration fee will be returned.
    • Cancellations within 13 days or less before the conference start date are not eligible for a refund.
    • However, in some cases, part or all of the registration fee may qualify for credit towards another veterinary continuing education (CE) offering.
