About the Awards
The Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS) Outstanding Alumni & Rising Star Awards are the highest honor the college bestows on its former students. The school honors graduates whose contributions to veterinary medicine, human medicine, and One Health are a credit to the educational standing of the school both nationally and internationally.
Outstanding Alumni & Rising Star recipients exemplify the ideals, character strengths, and principles of conduct that make these professions some of the highest callings. We applaud them for the principles by which they have lived and practiced their professions.
